The Midwest Atlantic Region Dives into Social Media

In just the past few years, social networking sites have started up in dorm rooms or garages, evolved into worldwide corporations, and become entangled in nearly everything on and off the Internet. Almost every day I hear someone say “Facebook me” or “YouTube it”. You can now “check-in”, “like”, “tweet”, “post”, “blog”, and a whole host of other actions right from your phone, tablet, or computer. With the explosion of such social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, G.R.E.A.T. is starting to experiment with the possibilities in order to better serve our G.R.E.A.T. community.
Sign up now for our next G.R.E.A.T. Officer Training. It will be held in beautiful La Crosse, WI, June 11-20, 2012. Not only will the training be FREE, but since this training is held at the regional training center in La Crosse, lodging will be provided FREE of charge to participants as well!
