Are you wondering about the process of putting the G.R.E.A.T. Logo on your department vehicle, a community fundraising sign, or your webpage? Do I have to request permission to use the G.R.E.A.T. Logo?Yes, the G.R.E.A.T. name and logo are registered in the United States as trademarks. Protection of the G.R.E.A.T. name and logo requires that the G.R.E.A.T. Program develop and maintain standards controlling the nature and quality of such products and services. If the public cannot recognize and standard of quality attached to the G.R.E.A.T. Program's products and services and if the trademarks are not applied universally, the trademarks become meaningless. What is the process for applying to use the logo?
