1. Presentations must address the topic. (To learn more about the G.R.E.A.T. Program, browse information on this website [www.mwgreat.org] or the National G.R.E.A.T. Website [www.greatonline.org])
2. Group or individual projects are acceptable.
3. Teachers may advise students, but are not allowed to prepare presentations.
4. Presentations should be at least 3 minutes, but no longer than 5 minutes.
5. Videos may be produced with any video editing program, as long as it plays on a standard CD or DVD player.
6. Any graphics, videos, or music used from the internet must follow all federal copyright laws. As a reference, go to www.mediafestival.org/copyrightchart.html and www.copyright.gov.
7. Submit two CDs or DVDs by end of business on April 28, 2008.
8. All materials submitted must be clearly identified with group name, school name, city and state.
9. Schools that reside in the Midwest Region's ten-state area may participate in this contest: WI, MN, IA, IL, IN, KS, OH, MI, MO, NE.
